At home in Sunday’s La Liga fixture, Mallorca secured a dominant 3-1 victory over Las Palmas at Estadio Iberoamericano 2010.
Mallorca scored the first goal when Vedat Muriqi netted in the 7th minute, with an assist by Dani Rodríguez, making it 1-0.
In the 28th minute Vedat Muriqi increased the lead for Mallorca with an assist by Johan Mojica.
It was Las Palmas’ sixth game in a row without a win.
Dani Rodríguez made it 3-0 in the 35th minute as he found the net.
With 62 minutes on the clock, Las Palmas’ Stefan Bajčetić found the net following a Viti Rozada assist to pull one back for Las Palmas.
Mallorca are now in seventh place in the table, while Las Palmas are in 17th place.
