Arsenal Holds Firm to Secure Valuable Point Against Manchester City

The equalizer was to come in extra time as John Stones scored for Manchester City.

It was a difficult encounter at Etihad Stadium on Sunday evening, but Arsenal showed their resilience by earning up a point away from their rivals Manchester City. The match ended in a 2-2 tie, showing Arsenal’s drive to win away games once more.

Manchester City took an early lead thanks to Erling Haaland’s goal, assisted by Sávio. However, Arsenal quickly responded with a goal from R. Calafiori, assisted by Gabriel Martinelli.

The game took a dramatic turn when Leandro Trossard was sent off for Arsenal just before halftime.

Despite playing with a numerical disadvantage, the Gunners managed to seize the lead just before half time, when Gabriel Magalhães scored the goal assisted by B. Saka.

The Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, doesn’t leave anything positive after the game. According to him, both of these similar incidents, especially the red card to Trossard, made the game unfair and unpleasant to watch.
