Atlético Madrid’s unbeaten run extended after 3-1 to Leganés

Atlético Madrid enjoyed a great game in the La Liga and their 10th game in a row without defeat came at home to Leganés. The game finished 3-1.

In the 34th minute, Yvan Neyou scored, with an assist by Dani Raba, to give Leganés a 1-0 lead in what had been a goalless match.

In the 69th minute, A. Sørloth equalised for Atlético Madrid, with an assist by Axel Witsel.

With only nine minutes left to play, Atlético Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann took the lead, with an assist by Giuliano Simeone.

The 3-1 goal came in stoppage time, when A. Sørloth netted for Atlético Madrid, with an assist by Julián Álvarez, to complete Atlético Madrid’s come back.

The result brings no change for the teams in terms of league position: Atlético Madrid in third place and Leganés in 17th.

The next La Liga games for Atlético Madrid are Real Betis (away) on 27 October, Atlético Madrid (home) on 3 November and Mallorca (away) on 10 November. Leganés play Celta de Vigo (home) on 27 October, Girona (away) on 2 November and Sevilla (home) on 10 November.
