Real Madrid’s unbeaten run continues

Real Madrid remain hard to beat in the La Liga. The 2-1 win away to Celta de Vigo means they notched up a 10th consecutive game without defeat.

Real Madrid scored the first goal when Kylian Mbappé netted in the 20th minute, with an assist by E. Camavinga, making it 1-0.

Straight after the break, Williot Swedberg made his mark and equalised for Celta de Vigo.

In the 66th minute, Vinícius Júnior gave Real Madrid the lead, with an assist by L. Modrić.

The next La Liga games for Celta de Vigo are Leganés (away) on 27 October, Celta de Vigo (home) on 4 November and Real Betis (away) on 10 November. Real Madrid play FC Barcelona (home) on 26 October, Valencia (away) on 2 November and Osasuna (home) on 9 November.

Celta de Vigo are in 10th place after the game, while Real Madrid are in second. Real Madrid are 3 points behind FC Barcelona.
