Osasuna’s Struggles Persist as Rayo Vallecano Clash Ends in Stalemate

Osasuna failed to win at home against Rayo Vallecano. The game finished 1-1 and that was Osasunas eighth consecutive game without a win in the La Liga.

With 59 minutes on the clock, Osasuna’s Raúl García de Haro found the net following a Rubén García assist to equalise.

Rayo Vallecano started the match best and took the lead when Sergio Camello netted after 19 minutes, with an assist by A. Rațiu, making it 1-0.

It was Rayo Vallecano’s sixth game in a row without defeat.

For Osasuna, this means 10th place in the table, while Rayo Vallecano are ninth in the league.

Osasuna play Las Palmas on 24 January, Real Sociedad on 2 February and Mallorca (away) on 9 February. Rayo Vallecano’s next opponents are Girona on 26 January, Leganés on 31 January and Real Valladolid (home) on 9 February.
