Duel Ends in a Point Apiece for Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest!

Ramón Sosa leveled the score for Forest in the 70th minute, with an assist by Jota Silva. The course of the game, though, changed when Morgan Gibbs-White of Forest was given the red card in the 83rd minute. Brighton capitalized on the advantage when Jack Hinshelwood scored an equalizer before half-time.

At the end, Nottingham Forest stayed in eighth place while Brighton & Hove Albion stayed in seventh position.

Brighton’s coach Andrew Crofts said Brighton’s side was offended by such action and was awaiting the decision from the referee when he was talking to a player at the time. Brighton’s coach Andrew Crofts said, “I am worried at how tawdry the challenge on Joao Pedro was and I don’t pay much heed to the rest of the actions”. Afterwards, he heard of the red cards received by the managers and Joao Pedro who sustained some injuries at that time, and he hoped that this player would recover soon.

In the thrilling 2-2 draw between Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham; the team plunged to the contest for win but still failed to bring it home. Brighton was leading at half-time while Danny Welbeck’s goal was just enough to make them muster hope at the break. Nevertheless, Nottingham Forest would not let that happen; they kept holding onto a lead within the first 15 minutes of the game with a penalty by Chris Wood.

On September 28 and October 6, Brighton & Hove Albion played against Chelsea (away) and Tottenham (home) respectively. Followed by their next match on October 19 opposed to Newcastle United (away).

On the other hand, Nottingham will play against Fulham (home) on 28 September, Chelsea (away) on 6 October and Crystal Palace (home) on 21 October.
