Conceição Leão the hero for Milan against Girona

Milan have now won five games in a row.

Conceição Leão scored the only goal of the game in the first half in Milan’s victory in the Champions League, as they beat Girona 1-0 at home.

It was Rafael Leão who opened the scoring for Milan in the 37th minute of the goalless match, with an assist by Ismael Bennacer.

The result means it’s five straight wins for Milan and a tally of four consecutive defeats for Girona.

With one game remaining, Milan are in sixth place in the table and Girona are in 31st.

Milan play Dinamo Zagreb on 29 January. Girona’s next opponent is Arsenal on 29 January.
